Connecting rural and remote Australia in under two weeks
“No problem, we can be there in two weeks.”
As businesses rely more and more on technology, we require more supportive communications services. Remote site and project offices need to connect to head office to provide a platform for projects to be completed on time, and on budget. FIFO villages need to have quality communications for residents to contact their family and friends, stream Netflix and scroll through social media. Our temporary and semi-permanent rapid deployment trailers are designed to establish quality and reliable telecommunications services within a matter of weeks.
When our clients have travelled to site to conduct field studies, research the area and/or conduct land owner negotiations, they may have a (weak) phone signal. The one or two people travelling around are able to communicate, so they don’t foresee a problem… What happens when there are five or 10 people at site? What about 100 or 1000? The signal is soaked up very quickly and the once useable, but patchy, mobile coverage becomes entirely unusable. Now there’s a problem, and it’s urgent.
We use our rapid deployment trailers to provide temporary or semi-permanent internet and private network services to sites in as little as two weeks. These trailers are self-sufficient, with large solar panels, inbuilt batteries and communications racks included with each. Our temporary trailers support services for up to 6 months and our semi-permanent units are suitable for several years.
Using these rapid deployment trailers allows our clients’ sites to be connected quickly to quality telecommunications in areas where services are poor quality or not available. For large projects, these trailers have supported the pre/during construction phase by providing private network connections to construction offices and temporary villages. They’ve also provided temporary links to enable remote staff to work efficiently while permanent solutions are in construction.
To date, our rapid deployment trailers have connected over 1,300 people in rural and remote Australia to quality communications, to contact family, friends, head office, access corporate documents, stream Netflix and general life admin. All trailers deliver the same quality of services over our large permanent telecommunications network, ensuring enhanced security, firewalling, reliability, improved productivity and certainty for all of our clients.
